This time of year as the Holidays approach, life starts getting pretty hectic! I thought it would be nice to take time to reflect on those things that make the season worthwhile. So for our regular scrappers the inspiration this week is:

Something I Am Thankful For
I'm sure if we look hard enough, we can all find something to be thankful for in our lives, even if it's just that we've gotten our Christmas shopping done early for a change! (don't I wish!) We can be thankful for our families, for friends, for losing the ten pounds we gained LAST Christmas, the possibilities are endless!

Share The Luv Challenge November 2 - 15

I made a promise to myself last month that I was going to try and finish at least one layout per day. (I got 42 done in all, yay me)!!  And not only did I vow to do a layout a day, but also to work on completing the half dozen half-finished albums I have collecting virtual dust on my hard drive! I've been concentrating on my daughter's Girl Scout and School albums, so I've been doing a LOT of layouts lately involving kids,  field trips, and teen angst! Which leads me of course, to the reason for designing this new pair of page kits, because as much as I love creating beautiful nature-inspired kits, they are not necessarily suited to a page about a group of teens making faces and clowning around on a bus to Chicago!

Don't let the name fool you, this kit is not just for teens! I chose neutral colors and elements that could be used for just about anything. From the time my daughter was little she’s loved animals of every kind. Over the years our house has gradually been filled with dozens of stuffed wolves, cheetahs, giraffes, skunks, elephants, and every other animal imaginable. Of course I was constantly being pestered to take her to the zoo, and I have many fond memories of the times we spent there. I enjoyed reminiscing about those happy times while I was working on this fun pair of page kits! My featured kit, “Zoo Babies” come with a cute baby chimpanzee, cuddly tiger cub, and precious baby pachyderm! The color palette is chocolate brown, jungle green, and ecru.
